When three year old Joseph woke up from his nap one Sunday afternoon he complained of pain in his legs. He was just recovering from a minor virus so his mother, Rosaline, was not terribly worried at first. As the afternoon passed and Joseph’s pain did not go away, Rosaline became concerned and knew this warranted further investigation. Gina |
Our life was turned upside down on January 20, 2008, when our daughter Gina, was only 13 months old. We rushed her to the Emergency Room after noticing a 3” hard swelling on her jaw. Blood tests revealed a white count of 394K (normal is around 5K – 12K) which were mostly “blasts” (cancerous).
